James Almighty

I swore one day the world would see, Who I was and wanted to be, And now I thank the former me For keeping faith, that was key. Through every role, both big and small, I stayed in love, I gave my all. My little girl made me see, That being her star was all I had to be. In ‘94 my fame took sudden flight, I felt like a bird singing in the spotlight. I put the world under a blanket of laughs, Yet in the silence, I long for new paths. The screams echo, the shouts fade out. I found the truth, what it is all about. The purpose clear, to have none at all. And in the nothingness, I found it all. James Almighty, that’s what I became, A face the world would shout by name. Gifted with power, in golden light, They expected me to shine so bright. James Almighty, they want me to be, But I am more—limitless and free.
