He came silently upon late fall's Northerly air, chilled the mowed grass Without even a slight care Turned the season to white Within a few hours One long dark night Jack Frost killed Flowers And ~ Bees Suffered. Blue birds gone Hummers have flown Butterflies unseen Disappeared from the scene Then came back again to play Jack Frost stopped mourning dove's coo A temperamental how you do

Victor, Yes, it seems so here in the south but we always a interlude in the cold, rain, sleet or snow to a few nice days to enjoy the sunshine. The sunshine always helps to improve spirits. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Michael, We had a heavy frost then it warmed up and the butterflies and birds came back for awhile. We have had heavy frost most all this week and the butterflies and hummers are definitely gone. I think winter is mostly upon us. Thanks for dropping by. I appreciate the time spent here. Sara
