Jack Dan'Ls

Where were you brother mine
as she lay dying?
Not by her bedside, for I was there.
By chance,
you didn't know she'd gone.
For I shudder to think
you didn't care?

Where were you that rainy day
as we laid her aground?
Perhaps you chose the easy route,
thinking a Jack Daniel's or two
and you'd forget,
what losing a mother was about.

I am truely sorry for your loss. Some people deal with grief in different ways, some can't deal with it at all. I hope things are mended between you now. ~Trudy~
