Jacaranda
I lay in a
Sea of purple
These petals
That have fallen
From this tree
its mighty branches
Reaching up
Now naked
Toward the sky
Its dropped its
Last flowers
Now a circle
Of purple
On a sea
Of green
Under a
Blue sky
This
Jacaranda
And me
