(Now) I've forgotten how to love Can you help me? I've lost my feelings, since you left... Won't you please...return them! I told a record producer and he said that band was well known for lifting(stealing,using sampling) whatever you want to call it cest la vie.

you say five out of 100. I think even THAT is very generous. There are really good songwriters who never get past Youtube. Have you gotten any at all out there? Ryan made an awesome tune for my Honeymoon Serenade and some German band is selling downloads of their version and I am not even given credit for the lyrics. It really sucks. By the way,thanks for that contest. It inspires me to have to use given words sometimes!!

Thanks Andrea, I had a lyric lifted in 1981, song went to #2 here in Canada, turned me off songwriting for 30 years, I always did it just never tried to publish any of them. Entertainment business is full of crooks, oh well, thanks for the visit!

This is great, John, and I hear a mid-tempo ballad happening, one that builds with energy throughout, with the verse in a minor key and the chorus major ... in the vein of "Ill Be Over You" (Toto), though that's all major. Awesome lyric, my friend ... superb!

Thanks Greg, well as you know if someone can "hear" a melody in the read, then that's a good sign of a quality write. I appreciate the thumbs up on this one. I agree minor key in the verses creates a sad tone for sure. I am glad you liked this one, your opinion as a fellow songwriter I value very much.
