Ive Fallen

Please help me I’ve fallen
And I can’t get up
I’ve fallen before
Thought once was enough
But now that I’ve fallen
I found that’s not true
I’ve fallen again dear
In love with you

Now we’ve been together
For 40 odd years
We’ve had lots of laughter
We’ve shed a few tears
Yet after that time dear
And all we’ve been through
I’ve fallen again dear
In love with you

I never could give you
Great riches and wealth
But you stood beside me
In spite of myself
And now that we’ve aged some
It’s hit me anew
I’ve fallen again dear
In love with you

So what do you say dear
So how do you feel
When you think of me dear
Do you sometimes reel
Have you ever considered
Once wasn’t enough
Will you fall again dear
With no thought to get up
