I'Ve Been Robbed!

My car was broken into on the other night.
When I saw the damage it really looked a sight.
My driver window shattered and glass laying everywhere.
The nerve of some people who really does not care.

My book bag was missing with my bible
thrown underneath the car.
My cd’s were all missing and the
Glove compartment left ajar.
The owner’s manual missing now
what am I supposed to do.
My portfolio is missing to and I am feeling blue.

It’s hard to see the good in this when I am angry as I can be.
I must tell the truth because it is bothering me.
So keep me in your prayers as I look for a safer place to live.
I know within my heart I must also forgive.

Hello Mary, we are with you in prayers. Stay safe and clean up the Bible. Fortunately, they did not take the car. I really like the last stanza. Great job & God bless always! ~Joseph

Poor thing. So sorry for your misfortune. Look at it this way, no person was hurt. Things can be replaced, people cannot. Still, very depressing and don't blame you for feeling blue. Admire you for your forgiveness. Love, Shar

Mary I can't even express the feelings I have for you and all that you have to endure - The sad part is the things that meant so much to you will most likely be sold for a quarter gram of speed if even that - As always I'll hold you in my prayers and I must say the last line of this poem shows just how special a person that you truly are - God Bless you Mary
