I'Ve Been Forgetful

As I reach for the sky
I realize there's no need for us to end up the same
Life has had its gifts and we hardly still remain
Please kiss me and make me forget tomorrow
I am not here to suffer and I will hold on to joy for dear life
Consider this a truce, a testimony of my willingness to offer something to the table
Please come into my palms please join the feast
Let us make something of this ruin
Let us make something of that twinkle
You will never hide from me, I've known you since in my mother's womb, love.
