It's Your Fault

Ok
I'll say it
I'm sorry I made the wind blow

I'll admit
It's my fault
That the rain ceased to fall

I'll say it!
I'll thake the blame
I ceased the grass from growing.

While we're at it:
I stopped the trees from staying upright
I started the babies crying
I made the sun roast the earth.
I made the water stomp flowing
I made fireflies stop glowing.

Why did I do it?
Don't ask me, you helped too.
You sat by while I cooked and fried.
You didn't believe in climate change.
You laughed, I died.
Guess what babe?
You're next!

Deborah: HEADS-Up Poetry Soup will take this down due to the F word last verse! Think of another? Love that the Earth is talking to us about whom is to blame for the warming! It took me a bit to see who's voice this was but Grokked by the end. Interesting and timely!

Sure Deborah...I saw it wasn't being read and they do have strict rules here. It is worth reading the Terms and Conditions. It is hard to be censured but they don't censure much! Nothing too graphic & no swear words. You can be sensual and use a vocabulary that replaces the common swear words. AnyWho, I wanted this to be read so decided to review with a heads up! Hope more read now that it's out of the "NEVER READ" category! On the 4th verse, Line 5- did you want to use the word "stomp" there? I made the water stomp flowing? Did you mean stop or another word for stop? INTERESTING poem and love that the Earth is putting it to us!

I took it out. I didn't want to but I did. I write some poems that have been compared to Stephen king it's too bad they can't be shared any where. Thanks for telling me.
