It's Time

It’s time

When the darkness starts to fall
And the light begins to fade
Eerie shadows climb the wall
It’s time to be afraid

When the floorboards start to creak
And the silent sounds awake
The door swings open with a squeak
It’s time to shiver and shake

When the ghostly apparition
Has bowed her head and cried
Holding your body in a frozen position
It’s time to be terrified

When your heart is beating fast
And the monsters start to bite
When you think you’ve breathed your last
It’s time to say…. goodnight!
