It's the Weirdiest Thing
My lazy thoughts are the cause of my procrastination.
Thinking too hard, now I’m feeling my mental exhaustion.
In my mind surrounded by the chaos and howling storms
Things are definitely out of the norm.
But I’m comfortable in this awkward mess, relating to my weirdness.
Some say it comes from a life that’s stressed.
With my flaws, and my imperfections I know that I’m blessed.
Trapped in my painful thoughts, I’m finally free from all captivity.
Writing permits me to face reality.
We all are lost to the world, by choice of deception.
Hiding from the truth by seeing through rose colored glasses, in this world there’s no perfection.
We’ve all shared moments that I can’t explain.
There are moments of love, some of joy and even pain.
Trying to stay calm as I am moving in this unknown reality,
It’s almost like I might have control; but it’s my own difficulty.
