It's That Date Again
It's that date again
the 14th comes around
our thoughts turn to love
feelings within us abound
We've been in love so long
thinking back it's amazing
all these years have flashed
past makes us be praising
Love is a many splendored thing
privileged we are this to know
valentine's day brings it home
our love we pray to constantly flow
So let's rejoice in our lot
thanks for being my love
you've been so faithful to me
such special love ours from above
(My 2020 valentine day poem for my dear and loving wife Christine of 30 blessed years, God has been very good to us, blessed be his name.)
