It's Supposed To Make Me Mellow

So they've upped my medication From 10 mg to 20 mg It's the stuff that's supposed to make... mm... mel... low I almos... uh... almo... almost nodded... offfff! Don't think it's strong enough yet... thhh...ough! Hopefully I'll soon start writing about fairies and pretty flowers Instead of demons and evil monsters Some of my best friends are fairies Hang on... the ones with wings like Tinker Bell We go skipping through the meadow with gay abandon Now there you go misunderstanding me again Well, getting back to my medication Sometimes it makes me so mellow I tend to try to stuff my pea soup in my ear hole Not a good idea... especially in a restaurant Mothers grab their wee kiddies Cover their eyes while quickly moving to a different table I mean no harm... I love everybody In the whole great big entire world

l hated my meds, l was all over the place. final straw was when l couldnt find my purse, looked every where. Hubby found it in the freezer when getting the frozen chicken out lol.. so your doing well if its only soup in yr earhole lol. ps, l love tinkerbell , please write a poem about her :)

a light and entertaining read, dear Jack! I laughed a little because the medication I took after surgery (a year ago) made me so mellow that I spilt food all over myself constantly. What an embarrassment when I ate out. I easily gave in to slumber, often falling asleep sitting up while I tried to write at my computer. Thankfully those days are gone. I can laugh now but meds can be a challenge. Hope you have a splendid day, Jack...hugs from Texas, Sara

I have yet to experience such drastic reaction to medication and thankfully!!! I have yet to go under the knife so it wouldn't be an accurate comparison! Guess I shouldn't look ahead!! xxx

Keep taking them Jack, they'll keep you going for another fifty years. Just finished a course of morphine, had some weird dreams I can tell you. Tom
