Carole Duet Poet Couplet

It's Such a Hot Day

Come take me away!
It's such a hot day.
Let's go for a swim
Or watch a film. 
You bring the wine.
We'll have a good time.

Let's get away from the pressures of life,
Away from lonliness, fear and strife.
We'll head for the stars,
Maybe Jupiter and Mars.
They'll burst in our heads
Like fireworks of yellows, blues and reds.

It's such a hot day.
Come to me.
Come to me.
