It's Such a Hot Day

Come take me away! It's such a hot day. Let's go for a swim Or watch a film. You bring the wine. We'll have a good time. Let's get away from the pressures of life, Away from lonliness, fear and strife. We'll head for the stars, Maybe Jupiter and Mars. They'll burst in our heads Like fireworks of yellows, blues and reds. It's such a hot day. Come to me. Come to me. What do you say? With your intoxicating personality, who needs wine, Carole? What a lovely poem and a marvelous idea:)

I know someone who has a pool too! Or we can go to the lake! What do you say? I see you have been busy today, Carole! Great stuff. Love it.

I'd love to picnic in the cool green grasses under a shade tree by a lake but here there are alligators and snakes in the lakes. So swimming in a pool is cool...Thanks for reading, Budgie. Glad you like.
