It's Sad

Its sad Its sad when all of the emotions you feel inside You cant cant put into words no matter how hard you try Everytime you try you become tongue tied Its sad that everyone around you thinks you’re fine When you can feel yourself leaking of all the emotions you’re pushing to the side Its sad when you can feel yourself slowly slipping from who you once were Its sad that you are such a great actor that your emotions slip from you… Leaving you numb Its sad when you’ll all of a sudden become overwhelmed Overwhelmed with thoughts of harming yourself or someone else With thoughts of not being enough With thoughts of just disappearing With thoughts of if your favorite person hates you or is using you Or that you’re just not good enough of them Or anyone It’s sad that everytime you look in the mirror you can’t stand looking at the person staring right back at you You just see a hideous creature Its sad that at any inconvenience you resort in damaging yourself Rather it be slashing at your thighs and wrist Or doing drugs and drinking Its sad that looking at those scars is just a constant reminder of how much of a screw up you are Its truly sad watching your life just slip from under your fingertips Slowly losing interest in things you used to love to do Slowly losing all your friends It honestly sad when you can’t be happy When there is nothing wrong You’re completely fine It’s so sad watching your life fade

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
