It's Over

For a long time I thought that you were for me, Thought I would never give up, then I decided to flee. Came back again, gave it another shot, Now I realize the trap in which I was caught. The mistake I made was changing for you and giving in, Should’ve held my ground, only way to win. Became a shadow of my former self, Lost all fine-tuned thoughts and stealth. Am I the one who was wrong? Now that’s it’s over, no it was you all along. Giving up is the best for me, Think we all begin to see, I was your toy, I would do anything, Brain broke and bent, held up in a sling, It’s time to move on, find the person I was, Escape this large dark cloud of blurry fuzz. Am I the one who was wrong? I realize it was you all along. Giving up is the best for me, Think we all begin to see, I’ve been cursed by you, or so it seems, I’ve been stung by the large black bee, You’ve made this all so filthy, But now I’ve found the key, The key will set me free, Time to finish this read, shut the cover, Don’t come to look for me, it’s over.
