It's On My Mind
I opened my mind
Listening with my wounded heart
Again , I see the skies
Called heavenly
They amaze me
Hypnotizing my brain
Creating a serenity
Their beauty in my eyes
My eyes deep set with reality
Bruised with my soul
The hues are brilliance
This morning they become me
I missed the sunrise today
However I am blessed
Blue skies beauteous
On my mind
The sunshine on my face
On this new born day
I am silently listening
I missed the birds today
Singing to me
They usually chirp
God's beauty in my heart
The sky a work of art
I am still amazed
I then appreciate
Listening each morn
I love the new day born
It has opportunity
Optimistically
I challenge it
Today thus I see it fit
I'll listen too
To the muse
At eve when into the night
I'll watch the evening twilight
Listening too with the wounded heart
They will twinkle
Again this beauteous sight
Will be on my mind
With footsteps
They too amaze me
I share this with you
Day by day
God , I am with
Each day anew........
