For a month now we've had cold weather,
breaking out the long johns and the sweaters,
I'm amazed,
calendar says,
winter starts today the 21st of December.

Winter is just getting "warmed up". Talk about a skewed metaphor! Thanks for the declaration, I'm gonna head south soon. Put another log on the fire! ~ j

Thats where I'm going to head when I retire one day, much preferring the hot to the cold! Thanks for kind and witty visit John; have a nice fire & keep warm!:)
