It's No Sin

It sneaks in
Very quietly,
And you see
Before you know it
Bit by bit
It’s there
Inside you,
Coursing everywhere
But then
You refuse to believe
You’ve fallen
Initially you tell yourself
‘No way, Man’
Despite
Apparent changes
That feeling of bliss
More smiles
Laughs more often
The egoistic you
Now softens
That wonderful emotion
Occupying your
Heart and mind
Stern once
Now so gentle
And kind
There are sly comments
Direct queries
Vehemently denied
“Nothing like that,
No please!”
After some time
Denials cease.
It is then
You understand
-Love-
That amazing feeling,
So sweet a thing
You are immersed in.
Go ahead
And accept it.
After all,
It’s no sin.
