It's My Time To Shine
The time has come for me to step out,
And do things that are good for me.
The time has come to leave the past behind,
To put everything on the line.
Because I know that I'll be fine.
You need to step back, stay back.
Because it's my time to shine.
Time has come for me to leave.
Time has come for me to pull up my sleeves.
Time has come to do my own work.
The time has past for me to be your slave.
You need to step back,and stay behind.
Because you already know.
I'm telling you as a friend,
And not a foe.
It is time for me to go,
And be luminescent,
In other words, glow.
You know.
It's time for me to shine.
