It's My Mind
A hazy Cheshire moon,
Above a fog-laden lake,
These natural wonders,
I can only see through a barbed wire gate.
Flocks of birds soaring,
Through an ocean of marshmallow clouds,
I wished I was free,
But, “they” said I’m not aloud.
If I want to get fed,
I wait in “their” line,
Because they control my body,
But only I control my mind.
