Its Just a Song
It’s just a song
That touched my heart
And I could sing along
Right from the start
It wells me up inside
And I try to hold back the tears
I have to listen whilst the tears I hide
But I can’t hold back my fears
It happened years ago
When I was just a lad
And my tears could not show
A mix of mad and feeling sad
It’s just a song
The words and music I hear
While others sing along
But I don’t sing the reason is to me clear.
