I'm nobody
Just a guy with a job
But I take it seriously ... very
Security clearance, eye scans, palm prints, the whole nine

The big shots? The head honchos and shoulder stars?
They don't even know my name, or care to
But they count on me, you see ...
Depend on me like the sun and NATO rounds

"IT Specialist" is the job description
Can't tell you how many laughs I've squeezed out of THAT one
I'm just a desk schlub - a screen, mouse, and keyboard are my tools
Oh, that little mouse - the holy havoc hell she's raised!

I call her "Suzie", ('cause she's choosy)
She is one sexy beeyatch, let me tell you ... with an attitude
One hexed flex of the index, and she rules the world
Targets vaporized with efficiency and haste

From here-to-Raqqa to Kingdom Come
Problems, paranoias, terrorists, non-essential marks, collateral ... poof!
With just the wag of Suzie's cute little tail
She loves her job ... I mean, she takes real pleasure in it

Me? I take it seriously, but just for the pay
I don't take it home with me
'Cause I'm nobody ...
Just a guy with a job.

Gregory, I love the way you got around one of those words we cannot use. "She is one sexy beeyatch, let me tell you ... with an attitude" I may have to borrow this spelling some time, with your permission first! It is funny how we are invisible, yet imperative at work.

Thank you so very much, Caren ... you noticed the mis-spelling, eh? Yes, that's a useful one, though I use it sparingly, but feel free to steal it anytime ... it does come in handy! So pleased you liked my poem, Friend! :-) <3
