It's In Her Eyes

It’s in her eyes. Sprinkle fireflies in the night sky, To illuminate the secret path into my lover’s heart. She could become mine if the stars were to align And lead her towards me, For at this moment she is still afar. Still, I hope one day she will fall for my charms. After a blind leap of faith, I will catch her in my arms And I shall be rewarded with the one that I have always wanted And no day will ever come to pass where we must be separated. If she is for me as I would be for her, This love will conquer all. A blessing is yet to be heard. Love will set you free if you just hear its call. All I need is to see her reaction, when she is talking about me. Some feelings you cannot hide. So take this box of rose scented chocolates, My heart and all of my empathy! For far too long now, this love has been hidden. For far too long, I have been holding it inside. (C)2018 Aa Harvey. All Rights Reserved.
