Be careful of an icy snow squall
It’s icy when Jack Frost comes to call
If it’s freezing and icy
Icy paths can be dicey
When icy, just beware you don’t fall

You've got yourself another top winner here, Jan - I love great lims and this is a GREAT one! You're lucky you don't have to shovel snow but what in the devil is a gritter?????? PS: I have an electric show removal thing that the kids gave me for Christmas one year, so, oddly, I rather enjoy "shoveling" snow!

Thanks Bob I just adore the limerick form and a gritter is a vehicle which spreads grit and salt on the roads to help drivers and melt the snow -thankfully we rarely get the white stuff here!:-) hugs Jan xx
