It's been a minute

I must admit I never really stopped to think
How long it's really been
Since you have been a lover and my friend
I thought to myself
When you first saw me
What really went through your mind
Inside I felt like you looked at me like I was a ghost
Even now I still wonder
To you
Am I really the one who means the most
I believe you are the only one who holds the answer dear
If it wasn't meant to be
It will all disappear
Throughout our struggles,climb, and fall
I just want you to know you have tore down some walls
Keep being the best you until again we finally meet
As for me God will direct me who knows what the future will be
