It’s all Perspective



[LYRIC FOR STAGE DRAMA VIGNETTE 
‘ON PERSPECTIVES’ ]

VERSE ONE : Solo Voice 

Sapphire blinked at the Jeweller
raw in form it glittered fresco facets
each one a fractal containing another 
in humble hours colour babbled blue blubber 

[back screen images : whales spouting /Michelangelo fresco slides in shades of blue]

[ CHORUS : Dual Voices

It’s all perspective 
crystal speculative
each lens sees a different angle
kaleidoscopes of bangles ]

(Music : Short Tenor Saxophone Solo )

VERSE TWO : Solo Voice

How was Jeweller to refine rough stone 
bright blue hummingbird like clone
bubbling songs morn, noon, eventide 
held he corundum to sunbeam bride

[back screen images : brides dressed in shades of blue/ Archangel Michael flies across blue mountains / white eagle glides]

kaleidoscopes of bangles ]

Azure ring or pendant or cyan crown
on golden chain or embedded in gown
his tools carving turquoise, teal blue
as Jeweller worked his heart healed true

(Music : Guitar Solo with Tambourine between : Classical Spanish melody )

[ back screen images : live rhythmic gymnast dressed in baby blue with chiffon makes ballet somersaults across stage]

Sapphire adorned his hourglass mistress
who saw both sun and moon in royal blue 
sky blooms beckoning cobalt hue on cue
many facets, each one a fractal______ 

(Music : Short Flute Solo : birdsong mimics ) 

[back screen changes with flashing sun & moon  / small birds & birds of prey in motion, royal blue night sky. African High Priestess images appear in orange Sahara desert ]

Perpective the name of life’s game
we play it with jewels and twirls
carving crystal cadences for name
embrace all perspectives, face relativity tame ]

It’s all Perspective….Relativity Tamed ! }

( Music : Drum Rolls | Cymbol Clashes : boomy, punchy then explosive, ending in  ABSOLUTE SILENCE with lights out : Lights come on softly with faint blue flashes)
