It's All Coming Back To Me Now

Remeberence of the things I have forgotten but now it fades back to me
The time when I was small and the world and its size became overwhelming
Hate to say I still feel that way, about so many
The shrines I dedicated to holiness isn't so sacreligious now
The've been banned and burned, for idols are the downfall of many
Many countries ago my ancestors lost their way to stand
Once they learned how to walk with new standards
Given this state of mind to another
Days too long with mortality,
Counted by the seasons of change
Each year the leaves fall, so did my aspirations
Snowflakes fall like memories handed from one generation to another
Keyed to the tune of "next"
