It's All About a Euro Ball
This game so popular, a Euro ball
all over the world, it's globally played
even the Euro Championship this year
everyone looked forward many said
It should have been played in 2020
but due to covid delayed till now
so many things leftover from last year
amazing skill to delight in, WOW!
But now the time has arrived
it's all action nothing else but play
real competition nothing left to spare
many wishing to win on their day
Being a Scot hoping for the best
promise so much but fail to deliver
but maybe this time we'll rise above
to show ourselves so very clever
So hope everybody enjoys it all
the football is firstly top class
being why we call it a beautiful game
real quality all the way to the final pass
(The European Football Championships (Euro 2020) have just started a year late! It runs from June 11th, 2021 to July 11th, 2021: a whole month: a feast of football! This is written on this feast of football and my thoughts upon it.)
