It's About You

"Wine's an aphrodisiac," they say, So I let me fill up my chalice until it overflowed over the flowers in my lungs- I don't think I can clean it up, you know. You remind me of someone I am supposed to know, Or maybe you don't at all look like them- Maybe it's just the way I choose to think of you. Do you think it's wrong for me to muse you? I hope you don't- Because I'm only using the idea that I have of you. I godify the few I like but maybe I should stop it, Red flag and a half I see now- Butterflies are dead, I'm drowning in déjà vu. Have two real friends and you don't want more, What a long ride up, what fast fall- I feel bad for stopping you, I should just let you go. Out of the three chances, lost one by treating me like daddy does, "Us" doesn't work, it's not fair- Not like you wanted it anyway, so I'm taking my heart back from you.
