It's a Wonderful Day!
It’s a wonderful day! The sun is so high!
The birds are just chirping away.
There are smiles on the people’s faces
as we go and start our days.
I wander in, on my daily grind,
but I’m very happy to see
that the faces I am smiling to
are smiling right back at me.
Such a pleasant surprise, to see the face
of every child, woman and man.
For on this day, this wonderful day,
we are doing all that we can
to put a piece of happiness
deep within all of our hearts.
It’s a wonderful day, it’s a wonderful day!
and that’s just where it starts!
