It's a Small World

In our realm an ant would be gigantic, A grain of sand, a monolith in size, One teardrop seem as vast as the Atlantic And blades of grass appear to reach the skies. Our tiny quantum world is subatomic Though physicists would say we make a mark, We permeate in numbers astronomic Yet I am but a nanoscopic quark. * * Quarks are elementary particles of matter that are smaller than protons or neutrons. They are the smallest particles we have come across in our scientific endeavours. Date:13.07.19 Contest:The Miniverse Poetry Contest Sponsor:Nina Parmenter
