It’s funny how you would be the perfect someone one minute, And be the devil the next. It’s funny how you would lie one minute, And act like you didn’t the next. It’s funny how life could be so perfect, And complicated the next second. I don’t understand why You would make someone so bitter with themselves for believing in love. Love might have been the cause of living, But bursting the bubble was not necessary. I believed, You made me believe, We made others believe, But still, karma has to take its place. Life is what you make it, If I was the reason for your sadness, I am glad you are now happy. Life is short, it’s the least I can do. It never at one point made me think that it could all be a lie. At this moment, being hurt is a must, But guess what I won’t do, I won’t stay there waiting for it to all be right, I won’t shed a tear like I used to, I won’t explain how much I love you. I will take it as a mistake that happened. Yes honey! It was all a mistake; the sex, the kisses, the togetherness, just everything. but it was a mistake I enjoyed. Oh God! I’m sorry I wasted that part of my life, The part I thought love ruled, The part I thought he was different, The part I ignored everything, Because of a fantasy. That part I forgot about reality, Because it seemed perfect. Yes, that part that made me think love did it, Yes God that part. I am sorry! But it’s all funny how life and love work things out. It’s just funny.
