It Wasn't I

Pandora shrugged and tossed her fated curls -
"It wasn't I who damned this fragile World!"
"It was you that chose to chance the wretched lot;
And this despite me opening up that bloody box."

AI, I think! Love that first line, yes, opening Pandora’s box…great play on words but is it a play or are we just in its grip! Well done!

As always with Man, and he is the great 'discoverer', he starts off with the best of intentions, makes compromises along the way (all in everyone and everythings best interests of course) ...and finally disregards all prohibitions and safeguards in the rush to be first. In other words, he falls foul of our greatest weakness ...he becomes obsessed. It will all end very badly ...very badly for all of us. The die is cast. It is now inevitable. All the very best, Kim! :) john

Love this. Always blaming women like Eve and Pandora. Good comeback

Only in an indirect sense this time, Andrea (although I do accept the charge Ma'am...guilty without a doubt - lol). The little ditty is aimed more so at A.I. Pandora acknowledges the guilt of her former crime...but makes the point that it is we ourselves who are now unleashing something even more powerful and threatening to our very own continued existence. She has now grown into quite the canny old lass. :) john p.s she has us all well sussed out by now I feel.

Thank you, Anisha. Just a little ditty when venting my frustration one evening. Can't even remember what kicked me off now. An age thing I suppose...failing memory that is. Lol. :) john
