It Was One of Those Mornings

~It Was One Of Those Mornings Contest~ Sponsor: Sara Kendrick Stanza I Nauseous and dizzy first thing in the morning, this baby was conceived without any warning! I smell coffee and poor me can't have a cup, walking towards the bathroom I tripped on the pup! Pressed start on the blender to make a smoothie, oh no! I can't believe once again I feel woozy! Stanza II Ahhhh...feel so rested from my good night of sleep, I just love the feeling of baby boy kicking with his feet! Sweet lil' Ella just came in for a good morning visit, hugs and kisses, oh how much I love my life, I'll admit! Mmmmm...I smell bacon! My house is so heartwarming, for once I had a wonderful and memorable morning! ~Date Written: March 1, 2016~

Your poem was delightful so glad that you had a good day after “It Was One Of Those Mornings” that really wasn’t awesome.. Congratulations on your placement..Sara..The nausea of morning sickness is awful but food is so good once one gets through that time..Enjoyed reading your personal touch work..

Hi Luloo, Congratulations on your win in the contest. I enjoyed both stanzas Laura, they were both written well, crafted in your Rhyme form. I enjoyed this, it goes onto my faves. Hugs....MIKE.

Although very few women admit it, the husband is just as nervous as they are. They suffer everything except the physical pain and some men even have morning sickness. All of that to say pregnancy, although rewarding, is a b***h. I'm happy that you have a wonderful family and write such great poems. Peace to you dear Laura:)
