It Was On

I was walking down the street with confidence
The day my foot fell off
At first I thought it was a joke
But it turned and
Had its shoe stick out her tongue
They called me names.
“Heavy foot,” “stegosaurus stomp rag,”
Then they started talking about my mama.
It was on!

I started this and thought "WHAT?" as it came out and stuck out its tongue at me.
