It Was Not Because
It was not because of anything that I had done
that the Lord God made me an adopted one
It was not because of anything that I did say
the Jesus Christ came to show me the Way
It was not because of anything that I did see
that God gave me love, grace and mercy
It was not because of anything that I did hear
that the Lord God gave me His righteous ear
It was not because of anything that I did feel
that I was given salvation so my spirit would be healed
