It Was Fate

Never forget kissing away the pain As we watch the sunset again Both of us were never the same It was fate that was to blame Hand in hand at midnight Nothing but the moonlight To light up our way What a beautiful way To spend our time to together I just wished this moment could last forever Our love just continues to grow You see I don't think you know What you've done to me I didn't think I'd ever be this happy That someone would come crashing into my life and show me I needed love That I start to believe you were sent from above Each passing day, with the words we say I know with you in my life these skies will never be grey Your the light in my dark You ignited that spark Kept me from falling into the deep pit of despair With all the little ways you showed you cared It was hard at first to let it show They often say when you know you know And my heart instantly knew As my capacity for love instantly grew I finally could see That your the one for me All the late night crying alone All the times I had no place to call home Were wash away in the summer rain All my past heartache and pain Was washed away With each word you'd say You'd make me feel That my love was real I just wished I could have met you sooner Because I could of loved you longer I've waited for a long time To have someone I could call mine But these words I say May help you to see someday That I love you with every beat of my heart Each passing day that we're apart We miss our chance to be together But maybe one day it can be forever That I will realise that love is worth fighting for That the feelings won't go away if we ignore Maybe I'm stupid and weak But I know that my future with you in it is far from bleak So tell me to go away Or tell me to stay Forget the tears And embrace your fears Because anything worth having doesn't come easy see Just how much you really mean to me
