It Was April
It was April when I met you~
Your eyes as deep as the ocean's bosom
exuding celestial light,
guiding my chosen path;
As we walked in the cold
your arms were fiery pillars
melting my frozen fears away~
It was April when you saved me
from the silver chain of peonage;
You were my living hero,
the hands of time that kept me going.
It was April when we walked
by the hazy seaside~
The night light by the harbour
glimmered and faded away
as I watched you drifting away
with the creamy corals
softly sliding to the sea.
Somehow in another April morn
I will wake up with your stolen gazes;
Somehow in another April sky
We will share a leisure walk
hand in hand and I will say with a smile,
" It was April when I fell in love with you".
