It Tried To Come For Me

It was not cancers but so what
It took apart of me I won’t ever get back
There are no answers when it comes to cancer
Diagnose tumor
To close for the right eye to see
Surgery recovery loss of a part of me
Force to focus blessed to be able to wake
And breathe one day at a time

It was not cancers but so what
The damage was already done
A lot of getting use to a just
To seeing things threw a glass that
Is now half full

It was not cancers but so what
Aim here I wear the scare for all to see
It’s not easy visited for cancer took
From me far more and tried to take
Another loved one and then came after me

It was not cancers but so what
There are so many brave fighting with
Cancer
