It Takes No Effort

Society seems intent on separating us, man from woman, woman from child, child from family, and placing each person in their own particular box where it’s all me, my, and mine (Look at me! Respect my feelings! You can’t have what’s mine!) but in allowing this we lose out on so much: laughter, learning, love. The greatest minority might be the individual, but it is horrible to feel alone…

Unexpected smiles
Or kind words from a stranger
No more a bad day
