It Takes a Lot
It takes a lot to break the code
And then what happens when it's broken?
It takes a lot to walk this road
And then what happens when it's over?
It takes a lot to pull from within
And then what happens when it's expended?
If I could change the world for you
I'd do so without hesitation
It takes a lot to honour our vows
Though we know that our honour will not be broken
It takes for life to kill my soul
Before our time on earth is over
It would take all the gods to break my hold
I will never let go of you and love you
Forever.
