It Starts With You

Stop!

Just stop, be still.

Just be. Stop still.

Clear your head of its ranting.
Stand frozen in time - pause -
breathe - and with your next breath
inhale only love, tranquility,
and implant it in your soul.

You must be the change you
want to see, so stop, and
say with me, 'we can save humanity':
a single thought of love and peace
will fly into the world,

it will gather speed, and like
a tiny snowflake will make a giant ball.
A snowball of compassion,
an icicle of hope, a waterfall
of wishes as it tumbles down a slope.

Don't leave it up to others,
for you are 'others' too.
Destruction or survival
begins with me and you.
So stop, and think before you speak.

Don't be the one who starts the fight.
Seek only unity, an end to hostility.
Do not judge, condemn or criticise -
view the world with loving eyes.
Do a favour. Help a neighbour -

Start now, for it all begins with you..........

I stopped to listen, it took all three times of saying stop to do it. A most exceptional read, and well done. Your words went right to my heart.
