It started with a blank canvas Poetry Contest

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It started with a blank canvas when I was twelve.
I started seeing this vision and I knew it was not a dream
for I always saw the vision when I was awake and about.
It started blank, all white, just like a blank canvas.
Soon there were sketches of images, images that soon
turned into blue skies and white clouds, reddish, brownish
old building with white motifs, sidewalk and cobblestoned
street in the background of four young ladies in uniform.
I imagined the building was their school and they had just
crossed the street for their faces were vividly painted showing
facial expressions of happiness, like excitement with group
of girls chatting, giggling, laughing, happy that school was over.
The canvas displayed one of the girls more distinct, clearly
stirring that she was the main character of the layout.
Indeed, it was for there was another canvas I saw in my vision.
It started as a blank canvas and sketches of images emerged.
An empty big stage with gold and red curtain in the background.
Bright lights, green decorations, like leaves surrounded the stage.
The main character, dressed in white with flowers on her hair
took the stage dancing while the other three watched and looked on.
