It Started
It didn’t start with a kiss,
It didn’t start with a look,
It didn’t even start with these poems,
That all came later.
It started when I realised,
Beyond reasonable doubt,
That no matter who and what
You are and who and what I am,
I want us to share our entire lives together.
It started when I realised
I want us.
