It Shines
It shines in your eyes
The word of the Lord
I can tell when I see
You are one adored
You have helped me
And I am truly glad
Your friendship is one
Of the happiest I've had
You praise me so
In a lot of ways
You tell me"God bless"
"To Him I should praise"
If I pray to the Lord
I can have what I need
If I'd listen to the word
The only way is to read
So, I want to say
That, in you, I care
I hope in the future
That we will always care
