It Seems

it seems the seams are coming undone each little loop loosening as the threads slowly unravel around us all we can do is hang on to this little piece of hope dangling by the knot forming in our throats as we pray for a cure

You GOT ME big time - totally related and in that sense I embraced your fantastic imagery (so right on, Sandra.) I've been scattered so far this year, most recently because of an actual vacation that was a great inhale. Now, (Libra and all) I'm having a hard time landing my thoughts/feelings, et al about the virus! You Libra-ing it, too? Just a wee bit of a CayCay update because I like chatting with you. Great poem! glad you are well... we all need time to inhale every now and then... the libra in me is unbalanced between fear and faith... hoping and praying, going to extremes to try and stay safe but... they are saying it can live in the air for hours … they aren't testing enough people so it's way worse then we even know and that in itself is scary... hugs and blessings

thank you Harry...stay safe my friend...it's making its rounds in the usa now, my state is growing in numbers and it began in my area with a pediatric cardiologist who gave it to a police officer and emt as well as others...my county is now the epicenter of the states cases ...we have closed schools and many businesses in hopes to combat it but it continues to grow and they don't test everyone sick so who knows how many really have it....I fear what I cannot see...stay safe my friend! hugs

Thank you so much John... we had a pediatric cardiologist who came back from Egypt get sick but kept seeing patients until he needed to call 911 for himself... then a local police officer caught it... my area of my state because of these two public figures is the epicenter of the virus and they now closed schools and gyms, retail and other community things deemed not essential until at least the end of the month... governors orders... scary....people are flooding the stores, you already could not get hand sanitizer or many cleaning products, now toilet paper and paper towels are cleared off the shelves as well... it's just nuts … my sister works in the medical field and said they are having a hard time ordering masks to protect the staff...

life's been busy between me being under the weather and work giving me extra runs and needing to run my son and sister to appointments when they haven't felt up to driving it's been crazy busy... the virus is in my area, a dr at chop and a local police officer both had it's been passed around the public quickly... the governor just closed all our schools and gyms and nonessential retail places down until at least the end of the month... kind of scary... hugs

In my area we had a children”s cardiologist travel to Egypt come back and not self isolate. Continued to treat children and had to call 911 from his office and now they are tracking all his patients and movements. Now we have a police officer who lives in my town God only knows how many people he contaminated ... of all counties in my state my area is the worst because of this dr. Schools close and deep clean one day not even all but the what good is one day of cleaning when it’s actively spreading. I am worried as I work around children. Hundreds a day and I am high risk of dying from it. I spray my bus with Lysol after each group exits I use hand sanitizer all day long and wash my hands but it’s airborne so one sick person coughs it’s game over ... scary.
