It Returns In Different Form

Should it hurt?
The word "LOVE"
A gift of happiness,
togetherness

A breath to breath combination
stomach rotation, when love is gone

Should it hurt?
Moving on!
Pulling oneself together
After falling far from heartache

A feeling hard to bare
until another comes along

The End

For a chance at splendor, the hurt is excruciating. Quite well expressed!

Thanks for picking my poem C.T. As for your question, yes it should. Anything that means that much should encompass both ends of the continuum.

Yes at times love does hurt but life would be unbearable without it. I enjoyed your poem.

Love definitely hurts when we lose it. The sting stays, lingers, pierces the heart but the heart is strong and is always looking for a new love to heal itself.

It is only unbearable if love never comes again...

When another comes along the pain is gone..That is true...though its never easy to move on.Indeed a love cycle follows our life's cycle. We are the world's fabrication.Well done!

Hey, I am first to comment!! And I saw that I HAD seen your other posts, so that made me feel good! I remembered them when I saw them. The one about the bear feet and what you told me it meant. This poem is very nice. Yes, the feeling is hard to bear. But thank heavens, new love comes along!!

He was the first to comment on mine too! Then he ran away, jealous trolls everywhere these days.
