It Reminds Me
I sit and watch the rain as it falls from the sky
It reminds me of the tears that keep falling from my eyes
I see the faces in the clouds, they do not smile they all wear frowns
They remind me of all the people who let me down
I see the fog touching the ground
It reminds me of how I use to not see things as clearly as I do now
I see the sun hiding behind the clouds
It reminds me of how I am so shy and why I have feelings trapped inside
But then I see a rainbow slowly creep across the sky
It reminds me that there is always hope all I have to do is give it time
