It Ran and Ran

It ran and ran
Ran till it couldn’t
Ran from the beginning
Ran till the end

It couldn’t settle
It couldn’t be still
Too many questions
No time to kill

It saw its end coming
Saw through the lies
Saw through the fabric of life’s big disguise

It ran and ran
Ran till the end
Saw no point in stopping
Was too rigid to bend
